Minnesota Landscape

The composition features a rural countryside with plowed fields and a farmstead in the middle distance. The foreground opens with a fence post filling the majority of the middle ground; to the far right vertical telephone poles topped with telephone wires lead the viewer into the background. Plowed and ordered fields lead to another fence in the middle ground that mimics the fence in the foreground. Vegetation leading up to a farmstead can be seen on the right middle ground. The plowed fields lead to the horizon line which gives over to a large cloud-filled sky dominating the upper 2/3 of the composition.
