Description

A steepled one-story church set against a gray overcast sky dominates the middle ground of this water color composition. In the foreground two people wearing long jackets and hats are walking from left to right on a sidewalk in front of a church. The sidewalk takes a sharp left hand turn in the lower right hand of the composition. Two trees, casting shadows from the light pole behind them, line the sidewalk in the foreground; just beyond the trees, two telephone poles can be seen in the middle ground. Also, in the middle ground near the telephone poles is a pink colored building. Just to the right of the church there appears to be an arched support over water.
