Description
A large figure with outstretched arms dominates the right hand side of this square monochromatic composition. His left arm is cut off by the right margin and his face is turned slightly so that he is seen in three quarter profile. The figure has a cloth tied around his waist, his chest bare. Below his right arm, on the left side of the composition, a group of figures peers up at the larger figure.
