Ruth

This vertical composition reveals the form of a large figure in front of a white bench. The figure holds an infant in her left arm while her right hand rests in her lap. The figure wears a long robe with white sleeves. Most of the composition is covered by a warm light brown color. The figure is rendered using a thick black line. The bench is delineated with a series of rather delicate white lines.
