Title

Joshua

Description

A man walks across the foreground of this image, holding a staff in his left hand. His body is turned toward the viewer as he looks over his shoulder and gestures toward what is behind him. In the background, there is a raised altar with statues of winged-lion figures and a throne. In the mid-ground, a row of six robed male figures face the altar. They gaze at the altar with their hands clasped at their chests. The image is portrayed in black, grey and white. The wood carving technique and natural grain of the wood create simulated texture and visual noise throughout the image.
