The Dragon
Professor Al Biales (seen left) adapted the Russian play The Dragon into an opera that was performed by performers from the North Star Opera group, and the artistic staff and crew came from St. Catherine University, St. Thomas University, and the North Star Opera group as well. The inaugural performance of this opera was in 1996 to mark the 25th anniversary of the O'Shaughnessy auditorium opening.
