Beloved children's literature author Ruth Sawyer received many letters throughout her life; a fair share of those letters were from ardent fans of Sawyer's literary works. Letters from Admirers is a digitized selection of eleven of those many fan letters, all expressing admiration for Sawyer's storytelling power and charm, both in-person and as represented in her stories and novels.

This curation is intended to capture the breadth of Sawyer's acclaim throughout her life. The letters collected begin in 1935 and end in 1965, documenting a large portion of her authorial life as well as her influence on others and the storytelling world at large.
