Arnold "A.P." Weigel was a prominent St. Paul realtor whose successful career suddenly fell into decline after he publicly advocated for open occupancy in housing at a conference in 1965. After his death, his family shared a collection of their family papers so that their story could be told. These papers include not only materials from Arnold Weigel himself, but also later writings by Weigel’s wife documenting the impact that the aftermath of his stand had taken on their lives.
