Vater Mutter und die Kinder
Subject
Description
A loosely sketched brick wall divides the composition into two parts. In front of the brick wall men and women can be seen leaning against the wall, standing near the wall or sitting on the beach along with loosely sketched images of children at play on the beach or standing in the waving lines that represent the water. Directly above the wall a line of people, men, women and children stand looking out toward the beach area. Baby carriages and bicycle can be seen next to the people as well as three little pitched roof buildings, about the size of a bath house for changing clothes. Directly behind the bath houses are loosely sketched jagged lines indicating mountains. An inscription of vater mutter und die kinder can be seen in the upper left hand corner of the composition.
