3 Nuns of Perugia

Dublin Core

Title

3 Nuns of Perugia

Description

Three nuns wearing habits in the center of the composition create a triangle as they pray with up lifted hands on a prie dieu. The nun in the background is looking up and reaching upwards with her palms together. The face of the nun in the middle mostly hidden by her habit raises her arms in front of her face in prayer. The nun in the foreground is leaning on a prie dieu (kneeler) in prayer with her fingers intertwined. Her habit encircles her face like a halo.
