Title
Notre Dame De Reims la Reine des Cathedrals
Description
The facade and a portion of the exterior of the left side of a cathedral can be seen in this horizontal monochromatic composition. The church has two bell towers and three arched portals topped with finials. Delicately carved spires and columns run across the middle section of the building. In the immediate left foreground, the pitched rooftops of smaller neighboring buildings are visible. The street in front of the church is empty except for an equestrian statue in lower right corner of the foreground, which is dwarfed by the large church. Light seemingly streams in from the sky in the upper right corner of the work.
