Description
The composition is a pencil sketch of a street lined with buildings with a church on the left hand side. The church has a tall steeple that extends almost to the top of the composition against a lightly sketched cloudy sky. Two sidewalks on either side of the street lead the viewer’s eye to a vanishing point in the lower right side of the composition. A couple of loosely sketched trees line the street and parked outside of the church is an early twentieth century automobile.
