Street Scene

The composition is predominately filled with buildings illuminated by streetlights against a night sky. The foreground buildings, divided by a street that cuts the composition into two parts, are illuminated by the lamps. Pedestrians are seen walking on the sidewalks that wrap around the buildings; the pedestrians appear to be mostly men by their jackets and hats. A church steeple in the middle ground is seen in the shadow of the night sky. A single tall building is also shown in the background. A full moon is visible at the very top center of the composition shining through thin clouds.
