Market in Haiti

Dublin Core

Title

Market in Haiti

Description

This is a composition of a busy outdoor market in Haiti. There is a mix of women, men, children and animals walking around in the foreground and middle ground. The women are wearing dresses and head wraps. There are several different makeshift shelters where people are selling their goods. In the middle ground are five more permanent looking buildings that appear to be on the edge of the market. These buildings are nestled up against bushy trees and a few tall Palm trees that lead the viewer into the background of forest covered hills and mountains. Across the top of the composition, a low cloudy sky rests along the mountain peaks.
