Wagon Bridge at Waterville

Dublin Core

Title

Wagon Bridge at Waterville

Description

A body of water, fenced off on either side, fills the center foreground of the composition. In the middle ground a road divides the composition in half. A bridge connects the road over the water. Two figures can be seen standing and bent over the bridge railing peering into the water below. Vertical telephone poles along the road as well as a few trees lead the viewers' eyes to the background body of water, horizon and virtually cloudless sky overhead.
