In the foreground are lines of haystacks neatly bound in rows diagonally from left to right. In the left foreground is a small hill separate from the farm land with trees and shrubbery. In the middle ground is more farmland with rows of haystacks that lead to a small farm in the center right of the composition. Beyond the farm, in the background, are a few more hills with the upper half of the composition, a expansive sky spotted with fluffy clouds.
