The Viewer of Art

As an artist himself, Nelson was fond of trying to capture the magnificence of all art in the gallery, a sacred space that helped bring the art to life, and that is exemplified in this collection, featuring photographs of artwork that Nelson himself took. These photos all contain women models and concepts such as abstract photography, macrophotography, purposeful obscuration. Nelson was able to emphasize the facets in the artwork with his photography--taking multiple photos of the artwork from multiple angles to exemplify how the space affected how he saw the artwork.
