This vertical rectangle composition is composed of gestural layers of color with a patterned layer of pale gray overall. It appears that a buff yellow rectangular shape, that just about fills the whole space, is the first layer of color followed by a small patch of green and a bit bigger patch of orange. These colors all seem to be painted over with a gestural layer of pale gray, again filling the composition. On top of all of this color is a series of pale gray architectural shapes filling the composition. A meandering rectangular pattern runs right to left across the upper 1/4 of the composition. A series of narrow arch-like window openings run right to left in the upper 1/3 of the composition with the vertical support for the arches running down to the bottom of the composition.
