Black Lake

In the foreground is an irregular oblong lake in the foreground sits on a valley floor below foot hills of a mountain range in the middle and background. There appears to be a small path, lined intermittently with trees, leading from the lower right corner of the composition towards the oblong lake in the center. The trees in the lower left foreground create a curved line that leads the eye from the foreground to the middle ground and up into the mountains that run across the background. A narrow band of cloudless sky can be seen behind the mountains in the background.
