This piece is comprised of eight plates which contain twelve horses pulling a four-wheeled chariot. The horses and chariot are surrounded by 22 allegorical female figures. The 22 female figures are representing Virtues: Justice, Temperance, Fortitude, Prudence, Justice, Gentleness, Goodness, Equality, Tenderness, Piety, Consideration, Steadfastness, Providence, Moderation, Eagerness, Fitness, Firmness, Quickness, Virility, Keenness, Magnanimity, Courage, Experience and Cleverness.
