Title
Sunday Afternoon in Butte Chaumont
Subject
Description
In the composition, three men in the foreground, all wearing various type of hats, are seated next to each other on a bench. Further down the bench, diagonally from right to left, is what looks to be a group of three women. All three men are wearing different hats and are looking in the general direction of the women. Two of the three women, who are all are wearing dresses, are engaged in a conversation, or at least one woman is seemingly talking and the other is listening. Behind the figures seated on the bench in the middle ground is a fence that separates the group them from the precipitous drop into the landscape park in the background.
