She is in the lower left corner of the piece inside a two story building with the wall exposed for the viewer. Behind her is a elderly male figure in a doorway with his hands pressed together in front of him. On the outside of the two story building is a male figure pouring water from a well bucket into a vase. The man is bald on top with a full beard. The well is in a courtyard in between buildings. Behind the elderly man next to the well is an building stone arch that provides a view of countryside with a house, rolling hills and trees.
