Haitian Processional

Dublin Core

Title

Haitian Processional

Description

In the foreground a line of female figures wearing white garments and head coverings are carrying loaded baskets on their heads. The procession starts at a low point down a hill on the left and rises to the top of the hill on the right. Beyond the foreground hills in the middle ground, there appears to be a wide open expanse of water and beach. Rising up beyond the beach and great body of water are large mountainous hills in the background under a dark grey sky.
