This pot is made from an orange clay and has a wide mouth. The top half of the pot is painted white and with an image of an orange bird and a wheat-like plant painted in orange and a brown-black color
Eusebia Shije was born in 1930 and has been a prominent and skilled Zia Pueblo potter for approximately 60 years. All of her pots are hand coiled and smoothed to a flat surface. Many of her works incorporate Zia birds and geometric patterns.
